This Collection Period
This collection period includes 1,062 teams (pool of 5,310 ) from the Top-100 Leaderboard collected at random dates/times from 100+ collectors. Collectors can NOT record themselves (these entries are deleted). Obvious entries of error are removed as well spot checked Players and Alliances that are clearly ficticious. Players and their representative team are counted only 1x per day, keeping the highest ranked, deleting all others.

Quick News

- HOLY hero use slithers down another hole. Fong what went wrong?
- A new element captures #1 tank use overall, trading one holiday color for the other.
- We have 2 heroes making their debut in THE ULTIMATES (TOP-5). It will come as no surprise to many with a watchful eye. See images left and directly below - did you know?
- JOON, who had been the #1 use classic for 6 back-to-back periods has been replaced by another classic equipped in costume.
- Ursena falls off the map...
- Garnet debuts at #11 along with fellow Ninja Cobalt making his debut at #14.
- The all father: ODIN debuts at #7 (a very strong showing of early user acceptance)! There may still be hope for the holy.
THE NEW META

It has been TRANSFORMING from one logical power path to another, breaking yet into another. Diversifying. And doing so quickly.
Following is the first dual element formation to solidify, immediately following the 3rd balancing of Telluria & Vela. Marking the end of the GTV era. They are listed in order of preference:
- Nature/Fire/Nature or
- Fire/Nature/Fire or
- Ice/Nature/Ice
The following data supports the growth and popularity of the 2/1/1/1 defensive:
Period Ending |

Teams |
---|---|---|
12/28/2020 | 40.0% | 426 of 1,062 |
11/09/2020 | 32.6% | 323 of 990 |
10/06/2020 | bypassed due to hero balancing | |
09/10/2020 | 29.1% | 320 of 1,100 |
08/03/2020 | 26.4% | 270 of 1,023 |
The season 3 heroes are extremely powerful to say the least (did I hear there is a Friggin balancing on the books?). A handful of heroes among its many realms are supreme, being many are Gods it makes sense.
The Ninjas were downplayed as having a true impact in our universe along with their troops at initial offering. They are tuning out to be a TOP-Family among our many. One to be reckoned with.
The release of Krampus made a ice shattering impact for ICE tank-ability, and trust me Lord Loki is going to be somebody and in short order. Previously our lowest of low in regards to top TOP TANK choices, that could be changing (over time of availability).
The natural elements are currently paving the pathways, however 'just around the bend' is already presenting itself. Darkness is making its resurgence. Not necessarily as a supreme super-natural; as another option among the many presenting themselves in the downward spiral of the rabbit hole.
Toss in the new war rules and there seems to be a bakers dozen of configurations an Alliance can approach their combined war defenses for success. Those who have played long as I have at the higher levels of competition never saw such degrees of diversity and options. The games platform is finally becoming as it should be: choice diversified.
NINJA NEWS

The Ninjas last reporting period were nearing the end of their testing phase. That absolutely occurred in-between. From my viewpoint testing began with Jade being idealized as the prime of the bunch. In the end, Garnet & Cobalt are the standout Legends of choice.
As well many were indicating that having a trinity of them on your line was necessary for their success defensively. Seemingly that was the case at that point in time. Personal experience proves that Garnet or Cobalt can hold their own as individuals defensively. Onyx is close.
They have developed the innate ability to 3 charge somewhat intelligently. This was unexpected yet happening. Even short of the destructive 3C, Garnets speed keeps her ahead of your ability to kill her flanks which commonly consist of the amazing Frigg (left flank) and the rapidly use accepted Odin (right flank). There are several other heroes that are fine substitutes at her side. Often Cobalt is found in a duo with Garnet or solely on his own in right wing.
NINJA TOWER * - This event is no pushover! I skipped it round one however jumped in at its 2nd offering. I was held short of completion at level 49. Many lessons learned. For me, I found both Sapphire and Amertrine turned out to be problematic. Cobalt was my most troublesome.
Classic vs Costumed Counterparts
I'm REVISING my previous representation of the classic heroes in this section. Any version of their self (trinity) making an appearance; includes them in the data.[>

FACT: The top total power heroes are primarily these costumed ones. If the assumption of POWER is truly a measure of its title on the battlefield, necessitating excessively high troop levels becomes less of a competitive concern (in general).

LEGENDARY v3 COSTUMES Preview

The LEAGUE of VILLAINS

10 Heroes added through the League of Villians Challenge Event! Processing them in order of presentation I was thinking each class was going to be represented - how cool! NADA. They doubled up on Cleric and Wizard. My eyes immediately settled in on the beautiful facial of Toxi - her Legendary Fast Mana Accelerated Growth being extremely inviting: AEO Health + AOE Ailments Cleanse + AOE Mana ReGen OT. Awesome. The DARK LORD plows into the #1 Power Position. Following are the Legendary Cards reflecting the new hero rankings:
Valhalla-12 Thor
Valhalla-11 Lord Loki
HOTM-45: Uraeus (Strike of the Cobra)
HOTM-44: Bertila (En Garde)
HOTM-43: Reuben (Occult Redemption)
